A session IPA originally made for the Oregon Brewers Fest; brewed with flaked rice to create as light bodied a beer as possible with juicy, tropical, and fruity hop flavors, alongside notes of peach, honeydew, apricot and pineapple. Tropical summery goodness. You are all in for a magical ride!

Hazy light gold pour, finger of thick white head. Nose offers assorted tropical.

Taste brings pineapple, apricot, the rice is noticeable, light citrus, light malt, melon. Light mouthfeel. Finish starts fruity, but dries somewhat.

Very easy drinking sessionable IPA. Not in your face just good citrus/fruit hop flavors and a crisp drinking profile. So lucky this landed in Texas.

The can doesn't call this a session or list the abv bit that definitely explains why I didn't like it. However this beer has a great feel to it, my main gripe is usually session ipa's are razor thin to me and this definitely isn't, the hop flavor and aroma are just gone though. If they can break that out more and keep the body maybe they'll have figured this session thing out for me lol.

12 oz. single from a 6-pack purchased from Plaid Pantry in West Salem..barely 3 weeks old.
Clear bright golden coloured body withy a rather sexy thick , bubbly, rocky white head.
Aromas of peach, lemons and pineapple..but not right in your face..just good and there.
Taste the same all the ingredients bit very tastefully melded into one great tasty beer.
MOuth feel perfect for what it is..smooth. silky yet no cloying residue
A very nice Session IPA

Pours straw gold. A couple fingers of bubbly white head that dissipates as you drink. Some sudsy lacing stays for the party. Smell is tropical fruit and citrus with a dank and bitter hop profile. Taste follows suit with a fruit juicy sweetness on the front followed by bitter hop. Feel is crisp and refreshing.

A fine session IPA. Unfiltered golden yellow body. Tropical fruit, a bit of mild grainy cereal sweetness, minimal caramel, floral and leafy on the finish. Maybe a bit of stone fruit also. Medium bodied, good carb. They need to put this in 6-pack cans

Brief initial impression from a 12 fl oz brown glass bottle:

"India Pale Ale." No ABV indicated on the label (nor any hop varietals). Their website calls it a "session IPA" and puts the ABV at 5.1% ABV. 30 IBUs.

Hops: Comet, El Dorado, Galaxy
Malts: Light Crystal, Two Row

The passionfruit, slightly oniony, floral, and lemony hop profile isn't bad but it does leave something to be desired in the most oversaturated style/category in existence...I mean, I'd sooner drink Elysian's Space Dust, Ballast Point's Sculpin, Lagunitas' IPA, or the like (all of which are widely distributed in the U.S.A. and with the possible exception of Sculpin run cheaper than this does).

Drinkable but a bit of a shrug given the wealth of great IPAs out there.

Good - a very "juicy" near-session IPA.
Pours a white foam that has average retention, fading to a thin ring around the perimeter of the glass. Lacing is complex patterns and medium-sized blotches on all sides of the glass. Body is a golden yellow-orange color, with light bringing out brighter orange-yellow hues (SRM 4-5). Transparent.
Aroma is sweet and fruity (orange, peach, mango, assorted other mixed tropical fruits), slightly "dank," a hint of mustiness.
Flavor is lightly spicy, tropical fruit, juicy peach, and sweet pale maltiness mixed with light-colored caramel malt, medium to medium-light bitterness. Front: earthy/soil mixed with sweet and fruity hops (orange, peach, mango, assorted other tropical fruits), moderate hop spice, light sweetness as from light-colored caramel and base malts. Mid: continued fruity hops with some light sweetness and moderate hop spice. Back: moderate spiciness, light bitterness, more subdued fruit (grapefruit, tropical fruits), hints of sweetness in the background. After: medium lingering hop bitterness and spiciness, fruity hop characters (mango, peach, orange, assorted other tropical fruits), slight sweetness from light-colored caramel malt and base malt.
Beer is medium-light in body, with carbonation of medium intensity, resulting in a mostly foamy, slightly smooth mouthfeel (2.4-2.5 vol CO2). Closes dry, with surprisingly heavy stickiness on the palate and lips.
