From a bottle into a tulip: hazy yellow-orange color. Flecks of sediment. Tons of carbonation; like opening champagne. Tannins, red wine, sweet herbal smell. The tannins and fruit come through on the flavor as well. A little bit sour. A tiny bit buttery and sweet as well. Really complex flavor. The first beer of this type I have tried (golden ale aged in pinot barrels) and I really enjoyed it. I will buy more if the bottle shop has any left.

Pour: Bomber bottle into a tulip glass. Appearance: Pale straw in color with a thin white head. Aroma: Hoppy and some esthery wine-like notes are present. Follows the nose a bit. The wine notes are more prevalent. Nice and dry quality. Aftertaste: Consistent. Light and dry. Wine and hop notes through the back end. Overall: Easy drinker despite the ABV (8.4%). Liked the dry tannic like quality. Very Good. 4.49 out of 5.
