Good quality IPA, what I would expect from Breakside. Nice citrus hop taste, not very bitter, very drinkable. Got a 22oz at Safeway and enjoyed it very much. Rated 9-22-2018

22 oz. Bomber
Poured into a Tree House glass a pretty nice hazy dark golden orange color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, mango), piney. The taste is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, mango), piney. Medium body, ABV is hidden pretty nicely, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, a pretty tasty brew.

Straw and cloudy with moderate carbonation and 3 fingers of glassy white head.
Smells grassy, and of onions and garlic, pears and chilli heat.
The taste follows the nose.
Medium, resinous body with little carbonation.
Drinking this in Redding, July 3rd, 2019. Really well done ipa.

Bottle poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewing Co pint glass
A: Pours golden amber with a frothy eggshell head that settles to a firm layer and laces very nicely.
S: Big tropical fruit, lively citrus, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Lively mix of tropical fruit and citrus, grapefruit, lemon, lime, and orange, mango, passion fruit, peach, apricot, and guava, a hint of spice, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: A bit on the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: Really nicely balanced. Proper ode to Citra hops.

I received this one from Tavour when we were still on speaking terms (I still like their concept, but their shipper proved to be a flexible as an I-beam & they would not use another shipper), but apparently, no picture was extant. The quickest way to fall into the backlog is to require that I take, resize, submit & await approval of a picture! Yes, the picture is mine & now, so is the beer.
From the Bottle: "Seek & Enjoy"; "Ode to the tropical Citra hop"; "Whimsically refreshing"; "One size fits all".
Having Pop!ped the cap, it was time for a slow, gentle, C-Line pour. I watched, in rapt fascination, as it puffed up to form just under three fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, French Vanilla-colored head with great retention that left an early Christmas present of loads of lacing in its wake. Color was an oh-so-slightly-hazy Golden-Amber (SRM = > 5, < 7). Nose was VERY tropical & I was put in mind of the time that Westie Cousin Colby turned me onto his Sculpin in Beta! 8=O I have gone off of tropical AIPAs, but I wonder if it is because too many different hops are being used. This smelled like tropical fruit salad or one of those Dole Tropical Fruit Cups that I like to treat myself with in my lunchbox. 8=) Yummy. Mouthfeel was medium, on par for the style. The taste was very juicy, very fruity, very tropical & very welcome. I do not know whether it was palate burnout on my part or too many hop varieties spoiling the broth, but I know that I enjoyed this a LOT more than any tropical IPA in recent memory. Mango, papaya, guava, passionfruit, all very nice without being overly sweet, either. I was a little dubious about opening a bomber by myself, but now, I am glad that I am drinking solo since I would not be anxious to share this one. Finish was semi-dry, but I would not put up much of an argument if you said "semi-sweet". I found myself licking my lips between sips, a clear indication of my enjoyment.
