It’s hard to read the date code. I’m hoping it’s 11/24, in which case I enjoyed this two weeks after canning, however it might very well be 10/24 and the beer is 10 weeks out.
Its somewhat hazy.
Low aroma, lots of the usual suspects. It’s bitterness isn’t as prevalent for a big beer, creamy finish. Hulle melon and a earthy citrus note round it out.

Picked up a 16 oz can from the Craft Beer Hop Stop cooler in PHX on 1-22-20 for $3.74. Canned on 10-31-19; consumed 4-17-20. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured a light orange with a nice white head with the original pour.
Nose is orange forward with a touch of lemon.
Taste is classic WCIPA, a touch of lemon initially with orange dominating over a good size malt base. Finishes with a nice orange peel bitterness; 8/10 on my scale.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and pretty smooth.
Overall this brew has some nice flavors and suspect would be really good fresher. Breakside does IPAs well!

16 oz can from Brewers Haven. Hazy golden pour with spotty head. Aroma is citrus, tart, citrus peel. Taste adds a little lacto to the citrus, making it smooth and creamy, while maintaining a nice bitterness at the back.

Love this series from Breakside Brewing. Awesome job on the 8.5 percent flavor bomb. Dry finish, with subtle notes of tangerine and warm sugar. Great with salmon and ceviche. Thank you so much for the work that you did on this bad boy!

This is my first beer from Breakside Brewery. The gentleman at my local liquor store(Northern Colorado so our beer selection is VAST and on point) suggested I tried. It's an amazing DIPA. Is it my favorite? Absolutely not. It pours a light orange flavor but holds a deep copper hue in the middle. The hops are definitely present and leave a very long aftertaste. Taste is crisp and reminds me of pineapple and slight mango with a bit of lime. Smells of sour fruit and lime, a tad of lemon. Mine didn't leave any lacing but maybe my fault due to a quick water rinse as I had an IPA before from Brouwerij West. This beer is what I would call aggressive. If you are a hop head this is a beer for you. The alcohol percentage is high and the hops really bite ar your tongue but not in an abrasive way. It was enjoyable and intense. I most likely will not buy this one again but will try other beers from ths brewery as I like their attempts and craftsmanship. Overall a great beer. I am used to the best and my option are vast so until next time Breakside, thank you for this DIPA.

another awesome ipa from breakside here, this one done with citra, amarillo, azacca, and simcoe, its pale orange and hazy and frothy headed and impossibly fresh to my senses. i have had some freshness issues with some hoppy breakside beers in the bombers in the past, so maybe the cans are the way to go with beers in this style moving forward, seems like hoppy beer in bombers is dying fast as a segment anyhow. this has an awesome nose of sliced melon, tangerine, and lemongrass, with just a little bit of a gripping northwestern intensity, citra and simcoe lead the aroma for me, but the others are identifiable as well, particularly the amarillo. the flavor is a more even mix of what i think i know about all four of them, papaya, clean citrus, cut pine, ripe cantaloupe, even a suggestion of white coconut flesh. there is a little greenness and some heady weed dankness as well, and this sits long on the tongue after each sip, pleasant the whole time, but more intense than others have been from these guys in the past, approaching maxed out in terms of hop dosing i reckon. its juicy but it also has some bitterness, its brand new tasting, and really distinct from the crowd. i think an excellent beer overall, one of the best hoppy ones i have had from breakside. dangerous at this strength too, its has some body and a little warmth to it, but its so good and fresh i cant set it down! awesome brew!

Canned 24 Oct 2019.
A hazy orange with a dense white head with good retention and lacing this looks good. The nose is stuffy, fruity, juicy and bitter, with a mild oat note. The bitterness is pine with some orange peel. Nice. The palate opens mildly bitter with a blend of orange peel and pine along with some mango, orange, a little peach. The mid palate has some alcohol and heat. A mild sweetness with a mildly bitter pine note on the finish. Decent.

Another delicious DIPA from Breakside. A blend of new school hazy and old school west coast. Bitter, piney, but fruity and smooth. Looking forward to more of this. Cheers.

On tap at PDX Growler Guys the other day.
The beer pours a golden amber color with good head retention and lacing. The nose on this DIPA is pretty wild, and you have to wonder what hops were used. While there was some underlying tropical fruit, onion and pine, I also got a pretty pronounced mint/spearmint note that was pretty weird. The flavor profile was most of the same, and the beer had good bitterness on the fairly dry finish. Mouthfeel was pretty medium bodied at most, and the finish was clean and pretty bitter. Alcohol was well integrated into the flavor profile, though it was noticeable.
Very interesting beer, though I'm not sure how much of this I could drink. Still, was glad to have the opportunity to sample this at GG's.
