On tap at The Upper Lip.
A clear golden yellow with a dense white head with excellent retention and lacing, this looks great. The nose is very good. Soft, doughy, pils malt, light honey, moderate lemon hops with a Saaz oily note. While the nose is solid, the palate is excellent. The lightness of pils malt with a rich melanoidin malt doughy, bready note with a mild bitterness and moderate hop flavor present. Lemon, mild mint, moderate earth hop notes are present. Just a hint of sulfur? Medium light in body and crisply carbonated, this beer is quite excellent. Mildly bitter and very flavorful on the finish. There's something about the texture that rubs me wrong way, though.

Gold to amber color with a light haze. Small head which settles to rim bubbles. A few spots for lace.
Smell: Fresh and soft pale malt with a beautiful blend noble hops. Attractive.
Highly carbonated, even for the style. The body is a bit weak but appropriate for a Czech Pils. The base malt comes across as a bit more darker than I'm used to, but the hop is peppery, creating a long aftertaste. The finish has a touch of sweetness that wasn't predictable. Overall, a decent entry with some subtle deviations.
