Cud Pud, as we affectionately call it, has got loads of thiol-derived richness from Oregon-grown Strata hops that provide big mid-palate pops of blueberry and passionfruit. We complement that with some Citra, also grown in the Willamette Valley, that blasts in with some top notes of tangerine, lime, coriander, and a floral-hay situation. We folded in a bit of Simcoe and Nelson Sauvin for some mild resin and musk, but these are really just accent notes that are there to allow the Oregon hops to shine.
It’s not just Oregon hops that make this beer fit squarely in the Northwest-vein of West Coast IPA. The ABV is milder than many of the California-inspired IPAs that we have brewed in the last few years, and some mild malt ballast allows notes of brown sugar and sweetened cereal to keep the finish nice and smooth.

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Orange golden pour, light cloudiness, lasting frothy white head. Aroma is light tropical fruit, oranges. Very, very light. Taste is the same as the nose, but with an abrupt dry feel that finishes it all. Not getting the same experience as the other raters here.

Can from The Beermongers.
A clear light orange with a dense, white head with good retention and lacing. The nose has massive amounts of passionfruit, some lime, a little bit of melon and some starfruit. The passionfruit is so pungent that it lends a mild hop burn to the nose. Minimal malt character. The palate opens mildly bitter and very fruity, with loads of passionfruit, some lime and sweet lemon, a mild grassy hop burn. A touch soapy as well. Drying, mildly watery on the finish with loads of lingering passionfruit. Solid.

16 oz single can from Safeway in West Salem OR.
$3.35. Now 6% abv
Pours a clear golden coloured body with a great frothy/clingy white head.
Nice citrus hop aromas mainly getting orange peel and a wee bit of lemon and lime zest. Pretty straight forward.
Taste is again citrus..same as the aroma and some nice biscuity malts.
Really nice and chuggable mouth feel.
A nice enough IPA

16oz can (dated 11/24/21) poured into 16oz tulip. Poured a cloudy honey-gold color with an inch of white head that moderate retention and lacing.
Very hop forward aroma, a nice combo of citrus, floral, and a touch of fruit, with a base malt sweetness.
Pretty similar on the tongue, with a touch of pine showing through as well. Nice bitterness at the back end.
The body was medium-full, smooth, and had a semi-dry finish.
Drinkability was good, I could knock back a few of these.
Overall, a nice drinking, very solid brew. Worth a shot if you see it.
