A hazy pale ale, or what we cheekily refer to as an Austin-style IPA. It's a tribute to our friends and colleagues at Pinthouse Pizza in Austin, Texas who makes some of the finest hoppy beer in all of the land. We set out to capture the essence of their beers with this "strong pale": their IPAs are light and drinkable, pure in malt and hop flavor, and intensely aromatic. A simple-yet-characterful base malt is the platform for big additions of Galaxy, Citra, and Simcoe hops, and the beer has intense notes of peach, grapefruit, petrol, and passionfruit. Cheers!

From the Seeker series.
An ugly hazy light orange but capped with a large, dense and beautiful off-white head, this looks ok. The nose has grassy, passionfruit pulp, some peach, the gritty flavor I associate with papayas and a light straw malt note. The palate opens with a rather mineral rich fruit juice note. That doesn't entirely work, but is ok. The peach and passionfruit notes follow, but are rather thin and disappointing. Mildly metallic, this finishes watery and mildly fruity. A moderate grassy hop burn is present . A disappointing NEIPA.
