On tap at Mikkeller & Friends in Copenhagen.
Pours jet black with a little bit of light brown foam.
Smell is coffee forward with hints of licorice, chocolate and something slightly vegetableish.
Taste is quite different. The coffee and chocolate are expected, but the fennel adds a licorice taste unlike anything I can remember having. Very different, very tasty.
Mouthfeel is a little bit thin, but still good, well carbonated.
Overall, a weird but wonderful stout by a brewery I'm starting to get a sense of liking its weirdness...
