Listed as a "Red IPA" at Whole Foods in Bellingham WA. Hoppy Red, Red IPA, is there really a difference?
Served in shaker pint. Poured a lightly cloudy copper color, with a very thin cap of white head that no retention or lacing.
The aroma had had a bright citrus hop scent upfront, with a light malt base.
Those features applied to the flavor profile as well, just everything was amplified a touch.
The body was solidly medium, with a dry finish.
Drinkability was good, my pint went done happily enough, and I would consider having it again. Overall, a pretty nice brew, worth trying if you see it.
