Can from Market of Choice. 2020 version.
Your typical hazy, this is an ugly, murky orange with a dense off white head with good retention and lacing. The first whiff is pure fresh hops. Minty, bright, soft, earthy, pillowy and gorgeous. This is followed by a more typical hazy IPA nose with creamy, juicy, peach and orange notes, align with a vanilla-oat like character. A touch of green hop burn is present as well, which is unfortunate, especially given how potent this character is on the palate. Mildly burning, moderately spicy with lots of grassy hop bitterness; not particularly vegetal but still very green. This is followed by a pleasant juicy hop flavor, with peach, melon, a little strawberry banana in there as well. The mid palate has a LOT of green hop character, lots of hop burn, that detracts from the delicate fresh hop flavor. With a hop burn character that lingers into the finish, this is a little disappointing.
