16oz can from Hops & Bottles. Clear golden pour, two finger fluffy head. Fruity, candy, floral aroma. Taste is sharp citrus, jolly ranchers and a sharp hoppy bite. Sweet and then bitter.

Had on tap. Cloudy orange pour with a white head and sheets of lacing. Resinous and hazy pine hops with melon, pineapple, mango, white grape and orange. Taste is more melon/cantaloupe centric, hops are somewhat watery but resinous, tropical notes dulled but present. Feels caught in between a true dipa and a hazy, watering down the hop character but never fully committing to haze.

Poured from a 16 ounce can into a snifter.
Look- Between medium and deep gold, mildly hazy, frothy white head, average head retention and lacing.
Smell- Melon, clementine , pine resin, pineapple, bready.
Taste- Pine, bready, slight clementine, flavor falls off quickly to weak and watery.
Feel- Very thin body, lingering astringent finish, high bitterness, average carbonation.
Overall- This beer felt like it didn’t know if it was a West Coast IPA or a NEIPA, but lacked the best qualities of both.

16oz canned early October poured into an IPA nonic;
A: Beautiful clear golden pour with a soapy and fluffy bright white head.
S: Dank, resinous notes of Mosaic with impressions of tropical fruit, mango, orange, and bready malt. Hints of Nelson in some diesely white grapes.
T: Fairly resinous and dank on the palate, plenty of hop presence and mild-to-moderate bitterness, with a fairly dense malt profile and notes of tropical fruit and mango here as well.
MF: Medium-to-full and fairly dry & bitter.
O: Definitely leans into the West Coast-style, delicious in that respect. The Mosaic is strong with resiny dankness.

This is one of the best West Coast IPAs I have had in a while. Tall pint can poured into an appropriate tulip glass. Lingering foam as I drank and a bit of lacing on the glass. First sip was a glorious explosion of resiny pine. Other reviewers mentioned melon notes, but I don’t get that at all. I hate any type of melons! I get a great piney resinous taste up front and on the back, and some citrus and white grape. Mostly piney deliciousness, though balanced with a bit of malt. I love this brew and have purchased almost all of it from my favorite liquor store.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with a three finger white head with good retention and thick lacing. Aroma of caramel and pale malt, dank and citrus hops, orange, mild mixed tropical fruit and a little green onion. Flavor is citrus, piney and lightly dank hops, grapefruit, orange, mixed tropical fruit and pine needles. Solid piney and citrus rind finish with great bitterness. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. I've never been disappointed by IPAs from Breakside and this is another tasty one. Once again, a West Coast leaning hop bill wins my heart, although there are other interesting fruit flavors involved from the Mosaic hops. Strong, piney bitterness in the finish. I liked this a lot.

Nice, clear pour. Finger-width head, fades away to a skim coat. No dominant aroma, just a field-fresh light hop note. On the taste, nice bitterness with plenty of flavor. We think it might it might be the hop bill was chosen for just that purpose. Solid malt base, clean finish. The beer is not just a one-hop wonder. Good carbonation and the ABV is well hidden. Recommended, if you can still find any, pick up a couple of cans. Found at the Hop & Grape in Longview.

Poured from the can, the beer pours a light copper amber color with good head retention and considerable sticky lacing all around. On the nose, the nelson sauvin hops are quite prominent, as I pick up considerable celery salt and leeks, along with some underlying tropical fruit from the mosaic hops. The flavor profile replicates the nose in this well balanced dipa. While there's considerable malty sweetness initially, that sweetness is nicely countered by the moderately bitter finish. Mouthfeel is fairly full, even for a dipa, with a long, moderately bitter, sweetly spiced finish. Alcohol is well integrated into the flavor profile, though you can tell it's up there a bit.
Nice beer from Breakside. While nothing extraordinary, this is an easy to appreciate and enjoy dipa.

can from ABV.
A crystal clear orange with a dense, white head with excellent retention x this looks great. The nose has a ton of Nelson dry hop character, with gooseberry and melon to go with citrus and honey. Sweet honeydew and sugar kiss melon notes, soft, sweet and fruity. the palate opens moderately bitter and with really good hop flavor. Melon, gooseberry, green grape, mild citrus are all present. Alcohol is shockingly well hidden. Maybe just a hair watery on the mid palate. Dryong, bitter and with lingering grape and gooseberry notes. Mosaic hopsnlend some real nice, clean tangerine and mandarin notes here. Quite excellent.
