Look: Crystal clear medium yellow with a frothy white head that erupts to the brim and settles to a pillow, leaving good lacing behind
Aroma: Floral hops and a bouquet worth, pilsner malt, fresh cut grass, soda crackers, and light wafts of honey
Taste: A huge grassy note opens it up and quickly followed by waves of flowers and pilsner malt. Honey comes in at the end of the initial hit and the grassy and floral hops continue to evolve before pilsner and cracker-like malt rejoin for the close
Mouthfeel: Full but light, medium-high carbonation, very crisp and clean throughout, and moderately dry on the finish
Overall: This is delicious. This is not only good, but exactly what it was marketed as – a hoppy (more than usual) pilsner. A nice and well-made German Pilsner through and through but with the hops turned up another 50% - reminds me of a fresh hopped Pilsner in that sense. A good collaboration from two breweries I respect and unique and tasty enough to recommend too

16oz can
Pours a finger of white head into my Pilsner glass. Retention is decent, half a finger of head remains after a couple minutes. Initial lacing looks ok. Body is pale yellow, crystal clear, with a decent burst of bubbles coming up. Looks okay so far.
Pretty hefty dose of sulfur on the nose…not sure what’s up with that. Mineral, some grass. Not good.
Luckily the flavor is moistly void of that. Pretty big malt presence here, not bready, almost corn-like. Not a “hoppy” Pilsner at all, hop flavor is quite low, some grass in the background. Overall not a very good flavor either.
Carbonation is on the lower end. Body has a good amount of weight to it. Sweetness is quite elevated for a Pilsner, pretty sure I don’t enjoy that, especially when it’s marketed as a “hoppy” Pilsner. Bitterness is very low. Overall an ok mouthfeel in a vacuum, but for a Pilsner the carbonation is too low, sweetness is too high, and it’s not nearly bitter enough for a “hoppy” Pilsner.
Drinkability is alright. Luckily the flavor doesn’t have much sulfur, though I do smell it every time I take a swig.
Appearance turned out pretty good. This glass is somewhat nucleating and that gave a pretty sturdy head; lacing was decent.
Overall an off-putting aroma, with an underwhelming flavor.

Light, clean & crisp with a hint of biting hops at the finish. The nose is a little weak, but the mouth feel and flavor are good, and the hops are not overwhelming. It's a drinkable pils, I'd buy it again.

Can from ABV.
A clear light yellow with a dense white head with great retention and lacing this looks solid. The modern hoppy pilsner is, in my book, mostly underwhelming because the intent and execution are challenging. This beer delivers. Crisp, clean, snappy, delicately doughy pils malt along with an impossibly on-point hop character, bright, fruity, focused with melon, pear, a touch of grass, flavors that shouldn't work with the style but do here. Mildly dank opening on the palate before weaving in the fruity flavors, pear, melon, a touch of berry are present. Crisp, drying, fruity, mildly floral on the finish. Delish.
