BOD 7-11-2024. Pours a clear golden color with a medium to small head that dissipates rather quickly. Aroma is malt grains and bready, with a slightly citrus hop bitterness. A little too much bitterness for a Pilsner, but otherwise a good Pilsner.

Clear and bubbly gold with a small white head.

Aromas of eggy sulphur, honey, toasted biscuits, and flowers.

Flavors of toasted bread, honey, green peppers, green apple, flowers, and white pepper. Bready, slightly sweet, with a bity, mildly bitter finish.

Surprisingly full mouthfeel for its abv, bubbly carbonation and a certain bready thickness. Probably double decocted.

This is a really nice sessionable Czech pilsner. Great job here. Highly recommend for any fans of Pilsner Urquell or other Czech pils, as well as anyone who misses Sierra Nevada Summerfest!

Look: A gorgeous clear light yellow with a frothy white head that swells quickly and holds, slowly receding and leaving webs of lacing behind
Aroma: A bouquet of floral hops, pilsner malt, some freshly cut grass, and biscuity malt notes
Taste: Starts off with pilsner malt and cut grass, which stand alone for a quick second before being bombarded with waves of floral-led hops. Pink jasmine, candytuft, and western azalea in the mix and these along with some biscuity malt sustain through the close
Mouthfeel: Light but full, very clean throughout, medium-high carbonation, and a clean and crisp finish
Overall: This is tasty stuff. What can I say, this is a well-made Pilsner that is delicious, quaffable, and a further example of why these folks are one of the best brewers in the state

boy do i like this, and when you throw the summer moniker in front of it, do i ever bite! this is summer beer in the most perfect sense for a craft nerd, pils-esque yeah, but modern hoppy too, and stupidly dry and light, this should be the gold standard for anything trying to play in this space moving forward, the quench factor is mega, the pretention is zero even though it comes from a legend, and the nuance is there but its not forced, its so brilliant! to simply take this as a pils is to miss its essence, some hops, some malt character outside of the european standard, and yet so somehow true to style too, how do they even pull this off, and why cant i have more?! i get the exact right amount of central sweetness, a floral and orange character to the hops thats distinct but in balance, and a very subtle lager yeast that almost is invisible but works this down to dry almost unnoticed in taste but evident in its efforts. light in body, clean to drink, refreshing but way flavorful, uniquely hoppy early, dynamic without being challenging at all, and just so expertly done. yeah we can call out green pear and clean tangerine notes, wet lawn and soup crackers, but no need to really over dissect this one, it works so well when just left alone to be sipped. a high point for breakside, especially in the lager game. pure money! need this in twelve pack cans this summer! i know context can be everything for a beer like this, and even though mine was awesome, this still would hit on a monday morning after a big weekend, haters be damned, its context immune!

Canned June 18th. Pale gold, clear. Light carbonation with rapidly fading head. Pleasantly hopped with clean malt base, it's a good take on a Euro Classic. A good summertime beer, good with light foods like sandwiches and chips. Nothing pretentious, just a solid lager.

16 oz. can purchased from Lifesource Natural Grocer in Salem OR.
$3.79
Pours a very light yellow..reminiscent of Budweiser!. But the head is huge and pillowy..like the clouds seen above from the window of a jet liner.
Pretty crackery malty aromas mainly getting very little hop..maybe a bit of grassy noble hop?
Taste again crackerish malts..for some reason getting a bit of salt ( that's good)..also lemony hops..nice actually.
Mouth feel is surprising "full" for such a light beer..I like it!
Nice beer and only 4.4%.
