500 ml bottle into a tulip snifter. Best by 8/1/22, had 9/2/21. Received from FOBAB to go 2020.
Pours a cloudy brownish yellow, with a two inch foamy head and a decent amount of foamy lacing. Aromas of musk, coriander, red apples, light black pepper, some oak. Smells floral, and lightly sour. Flavors of coriander, apples, oak, light malt, a little orange peel. Tastes floral, with some sourness at first, and has a musky taste that lingers. Smooth, semi- dry, a very good light to medium body, well carbonated.
Definitely floral. Coriander and musk are most prominent, and the apple aroma and flavor stands out, too- even if that’s not listed. A tough beer for me to describe, but it was very enjoyable.
