Had this on tap yesterday at the pub.
- Pours a nice slightly cloudy straw yellow wit looking brew. Fuzzy white head which dissipated quickly to a few remnants of fizz.
- Big herbal smell.. zesty, light malts, and more herbs. Like having a light wit standing in the center of an herb garden, and in a good way.
- Lovely light malts, and a healthy herb nose. Grassy, floral, earthy, and zesty. Hard to peg all the herbs, but it is a very light, and delicious brew.
- Light bodied, well carbonated, and slightly dry. Overall a very easy drinker.
- Great beer, and very unique. I liked it for a hot day beer, and the herbs were strong, but not overdone.

I feel a little bad being the one to add this beer, since it's far from my favorite style and I didn't like it very much. Pours a slightly hazy golden color without much head. Aroma is almost completely herbal - anise, lavender, clove, a touch of honey. Palate is a little more balanced by pale (pilsner?) malt, but still is huge on the herbal notes. Finish is a little chalky and has a distinct bitter herb that I can isolate but am unable to actually identify. This is a light, easy drinking ale, but it's kind of an experiment. Not my bag, but I appreciate the effort to make an obscure style.
