I enjoyed the XPA Purple—appears consistent with the Chinook FH variation.
Light and lively, with lots of tropical notes and fh goodness.
This has a lot of nuance and delicate notes that rewards attention.

Look: Golden yellow, clear, and vigorously bubbling while a nice head settles to a pillow, leaving good lacing behind
Aroma: Limes, strawberries, lemon, cantaloupe melon, raspberry, pink grapefruit, wisteria and peanut butter tree flowers, pink Starburst, and bready malt
Taste: Oh yeah, Loads of freshly squeezed lime and lemon juice jump out and are quickly followed by juicy pink grapefruit flesh. Melon kicks off the next wave, along with strawberries, raspberries, and Starburst as floral notes weave in and out of the spotlight. Closes with citrus, melon, and berries
Mouthfeel: Light but full, lightly slick, clean, medium-high carbonation, and lightly soft and clean on the finish
Overall: This is some tasty stuff. These folks have been magicians with fresh hops for years and I will try and hunt everything they put out so wanted to try this XPA with Chinooks and it’s delicious. Nice citrus, melon, and berry notes and plenty of fresh hop character throughout, not to mention the hop burps, make this another winner. Recommended

Clear amber brew with long-lasting foam in the Kasteel chalice. Wonderful aroma on popping the top-- cut grass and grapefruit. Hopped with Chinook. Tangy and light bodied with plenty of spritz. It tastes like fresh vegetation with a bit of pine and some green melon. This kind of lighter brew is not a bad way to use the fresh hops. You get the flavor without the overdose of the resiny stuff. Spicy and quaffable. One of my favorites of the FH season. From the 16 oz can dated 08/30/24.

Canned 8/30. Pour is WCIPA with light head, good lacing. Pleasant tropical / stone fruit nose, which carries into the taste. Mild bitterness with a very dominate fresh hop flavor with a dry, long finish. All the elements for a fine FH WCIPA came together.
