16oz can purchased at Huckleberry's, in Spokane, WA, for $5.99. According to the stamp on the bottom of the can (which also identified it as the Citra edition), this was canned on September 9, 2024. Btw, it's my first Wanderjack of any kind.
Poured into a 16oz glass of indeterminate type, this was a chill-hazed golden amber, with a nice looking, bone-white head that hung around for a while.
The nose was reminiscent of sweet melons and fruit juice, in that order.
Fairly mellow and sweet. Flavor is of honeydew melons, peaches and grapefruit, with the latter quite low in the mix. Very mildly bitter on the back end.
Medium bodied, with a lightly oily mouth feel.
This doesn't have as much character as some FH beers I've had this year, but it's the one with the most drinkability. It's insanely easy drinking. If I wasn't soon going to bed, I'd want to drink another one. Too bad that's no longer a category on BA, it'd be a sure 5.

Look on the bottom of the can for the "W/CITRA" stamp. Clear golden amber brew with Lovely fragrance of honeydew and lime juice. LIght body with ample spritz. Tastes of peach, lemon, and finishes with lime rind. Smooth, tangy, and aromatic. Moderate bitterness and a bit sharp in the aftertaste. Totally delicious and one of the best-tasting fresh hop beers I can remember. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Dated 09/09/24.
