Single can from Elizabeth Station in Bellingham, WA. Not going to lie, was confused by the packaging as same label but 3 different background colours and no ABV on the label. After, discovered on stamp on bottom of can “CITRA” and learned other colours are for other hops. Packaged 09/09/24.
Pours a slightly burnished golden with a finger of fine bubbly white head.
Nose of tropical fruit, orange, a hint of peach with, as warmed, an increasingly dank, sweaty, and herbal aroma and an added hint of diesel.
Palate hits with ripe orange, softer tropical fruit, but then a dank, herbal and again a touch sweaty kick gives a building but satisfying bitterness.
Bright medium mouthfeel with active carbonation and a lingering bittersweetness.
Enjoyed more and more through the 12 ounce pour. Wish I had picked up the Mosaic variant also but I blame the unclear packaging for that oversight.
