Look: Straw colored liquid quickly fills my glass, looking light orange upon completion and topped by a silky white head
Aroma: I could smell it on the pour. Pink and white grapefruit, blueberries, pine sap, nectarine, limes, Cara cara orange, crushed pine needles, and citrusy Cannabis
Taste: Opens up with a hit of grapefruit that is quickly joined and overwhelmed by and almost tongue-scraping, resinous punch of pine resin and needles. As that subsides, it transitions to a citrus heavy fruit theme, along with both blueberries and nectarine and these all develop while citrusy dank swirls around. Malt is present but light and only there for support, as it closes with an awesome, pithy, and sharp bite
Mouthfeel: Full, lightly slick, clean, well carbonated, and dry on the finish
Overall: This stuff is freaking awesome. These folks are masterful crafters of IPAs and their collaboration/partnership with a good cause was really cool so this was a no-brainer buy and boy, was I rewarded. It has an awesome hop profile – almost tailor-made for my palate, drinks light, and is dry with an old-school bite on the finish. Yes please, I’ll take more. Highly recommended
