Enjoyed on draft at Breakside Beaverton in a Becher glass.
The body is school bus yellow and carries a thin haze. A stubborn cap of ivory white foam lasts to the bottom of the glass but doesn't leave much lacing. The nose is citrus and weed. Not in that order. But the flavor does put a zesty lemon-lime combo right up front. There's also flavors of grapefruit peel, a gummi bears, and some sticky pine resin--which provides a great intro to the big green cloud of weed that follows. An intriguing set of flavors. The weed powers in but does not overstay its welcome, quickly settling into the earth and letting a moderately bitter, fruit-forward WCIPA character have the last word. Medium-light body with bracing carbonation. An agreeable amount of terpene character in a beer that never forgets it's supposed to be an IPA.
