"Our chocolate porter brewed with 100 roasted ducks!" I asked them about it it, and they said they used roasted Muscovy duck carcass, like you would to make stock. Had to try it!

Appearance is dark garnet with a small off-white skim leaving almost no lace.

Smell is dusty bakers chocolate, a hint of buttery diacetyl. Gets meatier as it warms.

Taste is lightly roasty, and yes, meaty. Gamey? Maybe. The chocolate maltiness has a hint of lactose sweetness. Almost a nip of pineapple.

Mouthfeel is on the dry side, medium bodied.

Drinkability is pretty good, a solid porter, with just touch of unusual depth. Although I confess any pronounced appreciation of the duck with lost after the first few sips, where the chocolateliness took over.
