Pours an amber colored beer with a bigger white head.
Smells of cookie dough, caramel and some accompanying wheat notes.
Has an unusually low carbonation with a very watery, too light mouthfeel.
Tastes of sugary wheat, accompanied by some crackers and a watery dullness, due to a lack of disguising carbonation. Turns a little more metallic then, with nothing going on.
Not good, too watery and one dimensional.

640ml bottle poured into a pint glass.
Clear gold in color, the pour generates thick frothy white head that stands with good retention before sinking to everlasting foamy film atop and leaving plenty of lacing patch and spot along the way, high visible carbonation.
In a nose, there is prominent black sticky rice and grain. Then it is floral, earthy, and some yeasty acidic.
The palate is firstly covered by sweet adjunct grain then it is subtle unique taste of black sticky rice as well as some earthy hop and yeasty acidic of the Lager. Overall, the taste is rather clean and a bit flat.
Light body with semi-smooth mouthfeel and lively crisp carbonation through the palate, finish is dry and clean.
This is not that bad, good palate cleanser and for refreshing against hot and humid weather in Laos.

Golden with a copper tinge, lots of slow rising fine bubbles. Topped with 3 fingers of off white foamy head.
Malt, glue, cardboard.
Malt, a little more toasted quality than most AA Lagers, a moderate hop bitterness that lingers on the tongue.
Light body with lots of carbonation. Fairly smooth.
Found at a restaurant in Vientiane, Laos 2 days ago. Drank in Vientiane August 23rd. Certainly better, more hop presence and character than Nam Khong's other AA Lager.
