Orange amber colour with a decent and steady head of foam. Lots of fruit in the nose (melon, grapefruit, tangerine and pear). These flavours return in the taste, though the citrus fruits tend to dominate here. The taste is a little sweet in the mouth, but more bitter in the finish. Medium mouth feel, crispy and clean. A nice American pale ale, though this could qualify as an American IPA as well by my standards.

I liked the 'En Garde' more than this one from Oersoep brewery.

If you are looking for a sessionable American style Pale Ale in the Netherlands and you happen to find this one, look no further. It has hops, it is nicely balanced, it is almost creamy but still refreshing. To me it tastes like fresh homebrew just without the off flavors of card board, Diacetyl and others that are common to those.
