This beer is as farmhouse as it gets with a modern brewing approach. This beer was brewed clean and with too much hops for the bacteria of foeder 1 in the Oersoep brewery to thrive. As a result, this beer is much more funky then sour. The aroma is typical brett of fermented fruit juice. On the palate peach, apricot and pear comes to mind. The scraping feel on the tongue reminds of peach skin. The bisquit malts and hops keep the balance. With just 5.5% and easy drinkability this beer is the everyday beer for the brett enthusiast. A Brett Pale Ale or Brett Blonde if you want.
