Two finger off white head with excellent lacing on a hazy amber reddish body. Aroma of dark fruit, cinnamon, nutmeg and brown sugar. Flavors include more dark fruit, caramel, breads, yeast, mild herbal presence finishing a little tart and resiny. Dry, medium to full body and light to medium carbonation. A very nice reprentation of the style with excellent Belgian presence.

On tap. Fresh.
Appearance - Brilliant ruby red / mahogany body with a vanilla colored small head. Head leaves spotty lacing.
Aroma - Dark ripe fruit, and slight spice character.
Taste - Dark fruit: raisin, plums. Bready malts, and candi sugar.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied, rich, slight drying quality. Lively carbonation.
Overall - Solid. Very good interpretation of this classic style. Impressive.
