On tap. Fresh.
Appearance - Hazy straw, thin light white head, spotty lacing.
Aroma - Coffee beans, pepper, cocoa powder, ripe bananas, grain.
Taste - Similar to the nose.. Pepper (no heat, just flavor). Cocoa powder shines through a bit more. Banana as the beer comes to room temp. No hop presence at all.
Mouthfeel - Low carbonation, smooth.
Overall - Interesting! The color does no justice to how this beer tastes/smells. It's well done. I would like a bit more banana... Would drink again!

This is actually a hefe.
Single finger head with nice lacing and retention on a cloudy pale golden body. Aroma is dominated by green peppers. Some other earthy notes and wood but heavy on green peppers. Flavor actually also has some green pepper notes. The mocha part seems to have done some weird things with this one. Base is also earthy with wheat, pale malts and breads. Light body and moderate carbonation. Not sure if it was what it was intended to be but still interesting even drinkable for someone that isn't a fan of green peppers which this one incidentally/accidentally is fairly reminiscent of.
