Pours deep brown with very little head. Strong malty coffee smell with hints of chocolate. Initial taste was overwhelmingly coffee. The chocolate started really coming through as it warmed up. The finish left a lingering sweetness. Full bodied with medium carbonation. Outstanding right out of the bottle but even better as it warms up.

I'm trying this at the brewery. It poured an opaque dark with thin tan head that isn't leaving any lace. The scent had coffee/ toffee flare. The taste was very sweet with toffee syrup flavor. The mouthfeel is fuller in body with subtle carbonation. Overall it's a big flavorful beer.

Pours a nice black body in the glass, transparent around thin edges. Head production and retention are OK.
Aroma is amazing! Tons of coffee, along with chocolate, vanilla, and roasted barley. Adjunct-forward, but not unbalanced.
Flavor follows: one of the most coffee-forward beers I have ever encountered. Quality-wise, it's right up there with Peche Mortel, albeit much sweeter. It's really a dessert coffee stout: brown sugar, molasses, licorice, vanilla, chocolate malt, roast, and coffee all come together in a wonderful melange.
Medium-to-thick bodied and smooth.
One of the most potent coffee-forward beers I have had, and much smoother and better integrated than the others. Quite a pleasure.

Pours silky and motor oil black with a thin ring of light brown foam.
Big roasty coffee-like aroma, chocolate, and oh-so tempting sweet vanilla notes.
Creamy sweet vanilla is layered into milk chocolate and a nice roastiness.
Full-bodied, low carbonation, sweet, chewy, creamy.
Overall, a damn good beer.

This is a very nice beer, but not what im looking for maybe. It has great flavor but comes up short. It is pretty thin, typical of ardwolf. The rum is not very present compared to other rum beers, and its very sweet. On the right track

Just about flawless - this is one of the best beers I've ever had. I love White Russians, and this stout is the perfect vessel to translate that delicious drink into beer form. Can't wait for them to brew it again!
