On-tap at the brewery. Cool spot. Great neighborhood (San Marco). I’m always up for a Helles, and it’s usually a good way to judge the quality of a brewery bc you can’t mask your talent like you can with hops and big beers. And this is a darn tasty Helles. Bready, fruity, malty, with a slight hop presence. Super drinkable and smooth with a delicious finish. Well done! Aardwolf and Southern Swells are without a doubt the two best breweries in Northeast Florida/Jacksonville.

Pours with a pale amber body that has good clarity and is topped by a weak head that leaves little lacing.
Medium body with medium-light carbonation.
Clean aroma and flavor that's malt dominated. Excellent sweet-bitter balance.
O: Bold for style, mainly due to the malt load.
