Pours a deep mahogany with hues of brownish red and atop sits a thin creamy ring of light tan foam.
Deliciously sweet notes of Belgian candied sugar, toffee, and molasses greet the nose while faint, but noticeable notes of dark fruit add complexity.
The molasses, candied sugar, and caramel/toffee-like notes emerges in flavor as well and while the dark fruit lends more depth to the flavor it doesn't distract the palate.
Full-bodied, low carbonation, creamy smooth, rich, warming.
Overall, I have to say that this is an absolutely beautiful beer and Aardwolf certainly nailed the style to a T with this beer. Keep up the good work gents!
