Poured from a tap into a snifter at the brewery a dirty orange color with a FDE head and moderate lacing. The first sniff and taste brought images of loaves of banana bread getting tossed into the brew kettle. So, obviously, pecans, nutmeg and brown sugar were not far behind. The alcohol seemed completely hidden and the banana left a lingering aftertaste that balanced out the bitterness.
