Crystal clear reddish-amber brew. Seems to match expectations for a rye brew, based probably on previous hoppy rye offerings from Sierra Nevada, Founders, and the like.
Rye, pine, and citrus on nose, along with some caramel grains.
On the palate, this brew is smooth and sweet. Quite juicy, with a light peppery rye spiciness that takes a little while to build up. Slightly syrupy feel, but otherwise lively and smooth.
