Charred black with a burnt tan bubbly froth.
Smell has a nice, nutty ultra roasty malt with cocoa and an almost smoky milk chocolate.
Taste is a little sweeter than the nose suggests, but is still complex with roasted nuts, cocoa, char, sticky molasses and hints of prune and tobacco.
Medium body, mild fuzzy carbonation, dry to semi-dry finish.

Beautiful thick brew - both in the glass, and on the palate. Strong dark tan head production.
Sweet nose, with notes of molasses and chocolate added to the roast.
On the palate, coffee notes and brown sugar form the base malt impressions, with juicy fruity sugars providing an overall strong sweetness. Definitely a dessert stout. I'm not picking out individual fruit notes (e.g. grilled pineapple), but the organic sweetness added to the beer is noticeable and pleasant.

Description is smoked pineapple, coffee & orange, none of which really stand out in this beer, but the combination has created a fantastic imperial stout. Black, thick and boozy.
