Two pours from the same can; the first pour is muddy and frankly unattractive. The second pour is clean and clear. Minimal head retention.
Boozy and oaky nose, along with a solid stout base. Espresso, chocolate, molasses, toffee. Not picking up much in the way of strawberry, perhaps a touch.
Flavor absolutely delivers on the premise, with a blend of strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla. Strawberry hits even harder around mid sip. Not much barrel presence until the back third. Sweet, but not overly so.
Smooth, rich, full bodied.
