Drinking this at the Aardwolf Brewery in Jacksonville FL.
On tap poured into a pint glass.
Appears dark brown, tan head, nice head and lacing.
Smells malty, semi sweet chocolate.
Taste follows the nose, nice chocolatey finish.
Mouth feel is medium for the style.
Overall a very nice stout that I would definitely order again.

On-tap at Crispy’s in the up and coming Springfield neighborhood of Jax. Deliciously roasted malt, chocolate, and some coffee. Bark, char, wood. Complex yet simple and enjoyable. Creamy and smooth.

Good dark beer in the glass; head production and retention are modest.
Very roasty nose, which translates to the palate. A creamy, lactose-like sweetness is identifiable up front (I'm not aware of this being a milk stout), added to a bitter, dark chocolate malt body. Smoked malt finish.
With a name like Styrofoam Pony, you might not know what to expect. It's a fairly straightforward, dry, roasty stout in the ABV range of a strong porter, but below imperial stout status. Not bad at all.

I'm trying this at the brewery. The beer poured an opaque dark with tan head that isn't leaving much lace. The scent had hints of nut, roast and smoke. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet chocolate finish....smoke and earth present. The mouthfeel is medium in body with smooth carbonation. Overall it's a solid beer.

A big ol' glass of dark brown deliciousness. Decent dark tan head sits atop. Good lace left behind.
Smell is malt, molasses, nuts, dark chocolate. Balance is very good.
Taste is exactly what you'd expect from what the nose presented, malt, dark chocolate, light molasses, light coffee, nut notes.
Body is between medium and full. Effervescence is restrained but not light. Hides the 7.3 % ABV quite well.

On tap at the brewery.
Pours near black with ruby edges. Rather weak head but decent lacing.
Full, smooth body with well set carbonation.
As claimed, this has "hearty doses" of dark roasted grains with some light, spicy hops. Medium light bitterness.
Long lasting, roasty aftertaste.
O: very well done stout.

Appealing look and chocolate colored lacing that holds for minutes.
Roasty aroma and taste. Smooth on the mouth and palate. No wow factor... but I could drink three in a row and call it a fine evening.
