2 finger head with excellent lacing on a very deep dark brown body. Aroma of bacon, hickory, smoked malts/meats and ham. More on smoked meat than say smoke as you would expect produced from a campfire. Not much peat in the aroma either. Flavor follows the near perfect degree of smokiness, could use a bit more, with smoked meats, mesquite spices, cola and cocoa for sweetness mostly in the finish. Medium to full body and moderate carbonation. Nice representation of the style and very drinkable even for those that aren't used to or desire this genre.
