This is an excellent style. Dark golden with a bit of a bite and sharp aftertaste. Pours with a slight head. Very drinkable and affordable in the taproom for a 9.5 abv.

Enjoyed from the bottle in a snifter. This nice tripel pours a bright orange golden color with a light head of white foam that dissipates to a thin ring and little lacing. Nose of candy malts, subtle spices of coriander and clove, apple brandy, bubblegum, and white pepper. Flavors the nose with sweet honey candy malts and apples to the fore, followed by a touch of coriander to the middle and bubblegum that fades to a light clove flavor on the back that blends with a touch of white pepper and very light bittering hops. Warming from the middle back, light carbonation, with a stronger grain alcohol note on the aftertaste. Good Belgian style from a newer company I would like to visit someday.

Hand numbered batch number 75

Cheers

22 ounce bottle, Batch #4. Served in a goblet, the beer pours a hazy golden/orange color with about a half inch off-white head. Both the head retention and lacing are good. Aroma is sweet, yeasty and fruity, the brew smells like honey, pears, candy sugar, floral/earthy hops, and a bit of peppery spice. The taste is similar to the aroma, but I also pick up some clove, bubblegum and some earthy/herbal flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit creamy and is also well carbonated. It's a little boozy, but for the most part the alcohol is well hidden. I think it's a good brew, I'd pick this one up again in the future. Always nice to have another good local brewery in the mix. $9.99 a bottle.
