Had a glass of this on-tap when I stopped into Bottlehouse for a beer after work one day last week. Served to me in a tulip glass, this beer draws a cloudy, hazy, medium copper/orange color with white head initially about 1/2 of an inch thick when first served to me that quickly settles to a fairly thin ring lining the inside of the glass. not much lacing either. Aromas of bready, slightly sweet, toasted malty sweetness with some apricot and hints of hops. Flavors of bready, slightly sweet, toasted malty sweetness hit the palate upfront that gives way to apricot sourness followed by some citrus hop bitterness. The bar tender Tommy, who is an awesomely cool dude by the way, told me that the sourness in this beer comes solely from the apricot and not from any of the yeast, etc. used in this beer (as can be the case in other beers of this style). Has a crisp, smooth, slightly prickly, medium to full bodied mouthfeel with moderate to heavy carbonation. Easy to drink in an awesome way! Worth a try for sure.
