Review from notes at the New Years Eve release. Aged 60 days in Watershed gin barrels.
Draft pour into tulip. Burnt-orange colored elixir, one-finger, white head, thick lacing.
Clean pine aroma predominates, almost medicinal, with caramel and spice undertones.
The gin comes through during the tasting but the hops fair better here, providing a nice pine bitterness.
Medium body, tangy.
Interesting treatment. Would like to taste the base beer without the gin barreling.
