On draft at the brewery as part of their New Years Eve release. Aged 90 days in Old Forester bourbon barrels. Nitro.

Dark brown, nearly opaque, silky smooth, tan head, tiny islands of lacing.

Really nice combo of blueberry, spice, vanilla and barrel. The bourbon is present but does not overwhelm.

The taste follows the nose and provides a really nice amalgam of the principle flavors: blueberry, vanilla and bourbon, with the fruit not sticky or cloying but blended well and complementary.

Medium body, nitro silky and smooth.

Well done BA porter: complex and well balanced flavors.
