Poured on tap at the brewery
A: Hazy, the color of the inside of a plum
S: Light, wheat, plum
T: Plum, wheat, a touch sour
M: Light-bodied
O: They describe this as having sea salt but I don't taste it. It would add a nice complexity if it were more present

This is the first beer I am drinking at Bottlehouse's brand new, second location that just opened in Lakewood, a west side suburb of Cleveland. This location will be specializing in sour beers. This is the first sour-esque beer they have ready. Served to me on-tap in a weizen glass, this beer draws a very cloudy/hazy light to medium golden color with a nice white head that's about an inch thick when first served to me. Head settles to a thick ring lining the inside of the glass. Not much lacing though. Aromas of some crisp wheat and bready malts that give way to some hints of barnyard funk and notes of plum. The taste is pretty much the same, with some crisp wheat and bready malts with mild sweetness followed by some barnyard funk and a hint of grape sourness as well as just a hint of salt and vinegar. Rounded out with a bit of sweetness from the plums. Not really any discernible hop presence here. Has a fairly crisp, slightly prickly, yet smooth, slightly acidic, medium to full bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean, somewhat dry finish. Easy to drink. A very interesting and tasty take on the style.
