This West Coast-inspired IPA boasts big bitterness on a lighter body. Columbus and Simcoe hops give off dank, resinous notes of pine and grapefruit peel.

Great serve. Not overwhelming. Always fresh.

This is brew number two of the BottleHouse half of my son's 65th birthday present to me last week. Unfortunately, this is the only IPA in the bunch. It is a nice. smallish West Coast that reminds you of how drinkable the style can be.
It pours a deep golden with great foam and fizz - fine bubbles and lots of them. The aroma is just skunky enough to inform you that it could be bitter and hoppy tasting. It does not disappoint with a nice dry flavor. It does have a bit of a thin feel because it isn't a bigger drink, but that should not be a criticism, it was a choice to make a lighter drinking West Coast style IPA.
Recommended. This is a nice easy drinking take on the style. I don't know what my benefactor paid for these samples, but it it's likely they were more than you should pay for them - one of the problems with BottleHouse.

Pale. Like drinking a pine cone according to the bartender. I would have to agree. Fortunately I like pine cones.

Pale amber with a creamy off-white blanket.
Sticky, dank peach, verging on sweaty body odor, with some light pine.
Taste is more powerfully bitter of pine, with grapefruit and peach.
Good froth, medium to full body, dry.
