Appearance: Pours a clear amber with a thin cap that fades quickly; no lace
Smell: Dry Sherry tones; a lot of oak cones through
Taste: Tart Dry Sherry is the only way I can describe this; oaky and increasingly acetic through the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with no carbonation
Overall: Knock me over with a feather but I would have guessed this was straight from Jerez

Having this beer on-tap at the brewery. This beer is described as a “still sour aged 2.5 years with red and white wine grapes”. Served in a wine tulip glass, this beer draws a clear light to medium golden color with a bit of a light red/pink hue. No head, foam, etc. at all. Aromas of red and white grape must with a hint of sour tart and a bit of oak. The taste is pretty much the same, with a bit of must and funk from the grapes along with a bit of nuttiness and certainly some sour notes and a slight vinegary-ness. A very interesting flavor profile indeed. Has a fairly crisp, certainly also smooth, light to medium bodied mouthfeel with light carbonation. Has a mean finish and a very dry aftertaste. This is a very unique beer indeed. This really drinks much more like a lot of wines I’ve had much more so than any other beer I’ve ever had.
