Having this beer on-tap during my first visit to The Craft Collective, which is a craft beer bar owned and operated by the same individuals who own an operate The Bottlehouse. This beer draws a mostly clear, just slightly hazy, medium copper color with a white head that’s about half an inch thick when first drawn and served. Head settles eventually to a medium sized ring lining the inside of the glass. Not really any surface coating of foam here or much lacing at all on the inside of the glass. Aromas of some bready malts, misty barnyard funk sour tart notes and oak are certainly nicely present. The taste is pretty much the same. Has some bready malts followed by a musty barnyard funk that gives way to some sour tart and oak notes with a hint of salt and vinegar. Has a fairly crisp, yet smooth and frothy, medium to full bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a somewhat dry finish with a nice sour aftertaste that likes to hang around on the palate for awhile after each sip.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
