Penny is an "orange, hibiscus, wheat beer from those creative folks at the end of Washington Blvd (on Lee), Bottlehouse.
It pours light red (not pink!) with not much fizz. The color is cool. The aroma hits you quickly - fresh, fragrant and fruity. The taste is slightly fruity. It is ever so slightly tangy from wheat acted on by yeasts. It is a very clean experience - light on the tongue and refreshing.
Recommended. A nice, well-made, light flavored wheat beer. I didn't buy these so I can't speak for the value, but most of their output is pricey.
