Piney/citrus hop aroma.
Enjoyable deep red hue. Good head retention with sticky lacing.
Malt balances hop bitterness but finish is enjoyablly bitter with no lingering harshness.
A solid beer.

12oz can, no freshness date other than a track number of 2014-02 which doesn't show up on their website. Muddy amber color, so cloudy, and a pitiful head, looks poor. Aroma is extremely subdued hops, boring. Now the flavor is not great but it does have a really nice melon and cantaloupe flavor that could be a real winner if they can improve other aspects. That melon flavor is real nice in Alpune beers and some New Belgium IPA's. Overall this feels pretty immature but it has potential.
