Wish this was not infected, but quality control is an issue for small brewery. Maybe better luck next time.

Poured into large snifter; dark clear brown with minimal short lived head.
Smells of savory dark malt, piney hops.
Tastes odd...wonder about an infected batch. Tastes tart and crisp mostly. Piney hops peek in, as does dark malt. Mostly tats like a sour though. Drinkable but probably not the intention.
Mouthfeel is clean and slick.
Overall, this is probably infected or something. I've had plenty of beers from The North, and dark beers are his bread and butter, so I'm sure this is a fluke.
