Poured into McDonald's glass (away from my glassware at the moment).
Deep orange, clear, with a moderate off-white head that fades quickly into a ring of foam.
Smells of smooth fruit, almost berry-like, sweet fragrant hops that combined with the malt actually can create a PB&J illusion from time to time.
Taste is smooth clear malt, with a healthy dose of juicy, bitter hops. The wet hopped Amarillo addition adds a lot of fresh-tasting crisp bitterness and juicy citrus flavor.
Mouthfeel is medium-light, clean wet and smooth.
Overall, I never bought a growler of regular Blondie, not because of any lacking on its part, but because there was always a black ale or some other beer calling my name on tap at the time, but the wet-hopped version was too good to pass up.
