Poured into fluted snifter; golden orange, slightly hazy with a moderate white head that fades quickly into some slick lacing and a nice ring of foam.
Smells of light crisp malt and fruity hops; grape, light tropical and sweet.
Taste is a toned-down version of smell. Crisp light grainy malt with crisply bitter hops; fresh grass and light fruit. Finishes clean and wet.
Mouthfeel is smooth, well-carbonated, light-bodied and clean.
Overall, this apparently cream ale was described as a "de-imperialized IPA" (part of the newer trend of session IPAs), but I suppose it makes sense in a way. It's a crisply hopped sessionable beer. Tasty stuff.

this beer is described as a de-imperialized IPA. Its actually just a hopped cream ale, the sequel to cream of the crop

A: a gold, crystal clear beer with an off white fluffy head with good retention

S: extremely fruity and sweet. Stone fruits, mango, cherry, etc. smells incredible

T: incredible late addition hop character, much akin to the smell with absolutely no bitterness. It is a little bit overwhelming to me. I wish it was a little more mild, as it overwhelms the simple malt characteristics

M: thin and uninteresting, but not necessarily wrong for the style (cream ale?)

O: an interesting beer, lots of crazy unique flavors in such a little beer(under 5%) It isn't my pick of the litter of the new pale/cream ales at the north brewery, but its certainly a good beer.
