Described as a hopped stout, this beer has a good up front bitterness paired with the roasted malt flavors. In addition, there is a subtle hop aroma intermingled with the notes of malt sweetness and roasted malts.
Not as smooth as say a milk stout, if that's what you're looking for, but a well balanced beer knowing that it is a "hopped" stout.
