A: The brew was poured into a lipped tulip glass and pours as a gorgeous goldenrod color with a large bubbly white head, quickly dissipating leaving little lacing.
S: The hops in this are incredibly aromatic and powerful, lending me to think this will be a delicious brew. The sent is aromatic with strong citrus scents, somewhat grapefruit and orange inspired, and gentle floral accents. The scent is also gently sweet, possibly from the citrus.
T: The brew is bitter with a lingering hop flavor that clings to the tongue; it's very fresh in its taste. At the end of the flavor, the citrus tastes come together.
M: This is light and very delicate in its feel. It is not nearly as carbonated as its appearance lets on.
O: This is the first of a 16-DIPA series from North for the summer season. It's smell and appearance are so beautiful, it's mesmerizing. The flavor for me seems a little old but I know that's because I neglected it for a few days before tasting. But truly this is a nice DIPA. I am excited for the rest of the series!
